MINNIE's Story...
Lafayette Animal Control Center would like to welcome MINNIE to our adoption program. Are you calling me Minnie Mouse? If you are , you are wrong because her name is MINNIE. She acts just like a mouse, is full of kitten energy and very curious and adventurous. She has a loud meow at times because she is a very spoiled queen that always wants attention. She is looking for a home where she would get attention all of the time since she thinks she is a special kitty. She is a calico that is 14 weeks old and weighs 2.8 pounds. If you are interested in her please come to Lafayette Animal Control Center. We are open Monday-Friday from 1pm to 4:30pm for adoptions.
Thanks for considering to adopt from us and not shop for your new family pet.
All felines are fully vetted, UTD on vaccinations, wormed, FIV negative, micro-chipped and spay/neutered. Adoption fee is $80. Cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discovery are accepted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MINNIE, a LAFAYETTE Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in LAFAYETTE, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in LAFAYETTE.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LAFAYETTE already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LAFAYETTE breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LAFAYETTE paves the way for another one to be saved.
