FELIX's Story...
Lafayette Animal Control Center would like to welcome FELIX to our adoption program. Did you say Felix the cat? If so his name is FELIX. He is a calm laid back cat that loves attention. He also loves to sleep with his buddy Ferdinand. Felix and Ferdinand likes to play and wrestle together.
Felix also likes to play with his toys. He is a grey with white 14 week old male who weighs 3.4 pounds. He is looking to be in a home for Christmas. He would love a home with other cats or children so he could get the love and attention he wants. If you are interested in adopting him please come to Lafayette Animal Control Center. We are open Monday-Friday from 1pm-4:30 pm for adoptions. Thanks for considering to adopt from us and not shop for your new family pet.
All felines are fully vetted, UTD on vaccinations, wormed, FIV negative, micro-chipped and spay/neutered. Adoption fee is $80. Cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discovery are accepted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FELIX, a LAFAYETTE Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in LAFAYETTE, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in LAFAYETTE.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LAFAYETTE already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LAFAYETTE breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LAFAYETTE paves the way for another one to be saved.
