My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES SHAHOLLY INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Shaholly came to IDGSR with a leg injury, This ultra sweet cat friendly girl is being fostered in a home with cats and she is just wonderful with them, her foster mom says she is just the most loving kind girl.
Shaholly obviously did not have the best in care by her previous owners and her life was of little consequence, somehow she was hit by a car or some other severe trauma and her leg was broken and left untreated.
When found by a rescuer she was many weeks into the healing process and with a 2nd opinion by our Orthopedic Veterinarian it was determined that surgery was not in her best interest because of all the remodeling done by the bone.
She is healing well and on the mend. While she will not be a good running partner, this gentle soul will be a fine walking partner, she is not a difficult dog and is compliant and easy, standard obedience work would be beneficial for bonding .
If you would like to make Shaholly a member of your family, please copy and paste the link below of our applicaition.
