Special home requirements or medical: experienced owner needed
Additional info: Toby is a beautiful 4-year-old Terrier/Wheaten terrier mix who weighs 38 lbs. He has a happy, easy going personality. Toby is curious, smart as a whip and he minds really well. This boy is high-energy; he needs a lot of daily exercise (two hour hikes are nothing!) and a patient, experienced hand. He can be a little rambunctious at home so we are starting to work with tethering him or crating him when he is too high energy indoors so that he can learn how to relax. We recommend a secure home and a secure outdoor area, as he can be a little bit of an escape artist if he's left alone in a yard all day. He is crate trained and housetrained and knows basic commands. He is fine around groups of strangers and really enjoys meeting new people. Toby would be happier as an only dog in a home with no cats and no kids under the age of 13.
He gets along well with strangers Toby has a happy, easygoing personality. He has a big heart and an even bigger smile. Let's get him into his forever home real soon.
