My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wilson is a white Bichon Frise who is14 lbs and about 5 or 6 years old. He is a cuddler and a well-behaved little guy. He was a little timid and shy at first, but he has more confidence now and warms up with new people. He’s good with other dogs. He is currently living with two kittens and is wonderful with them! Wilson is crate trained, although he may bark when left alone in his crate. To counteract this, his foster mom leaves him in a closed room with the door to his crate open and then he is fine. When not in his crate he will follow his person around the house. He may have a little separation anxiety as he did bark when left alone at home.

He loves playing outside, but is also happy chilling with his people. Wilson needs to be reminded to drink water throughout the day. He’s completely healed and doing fine after a recent bladder stone was removed, but he needs to be monitored to make sure he keeps hydrating. He also has a tendency to form crystals so he should be tested every 3-6 months to make sure no stones are forming. Because of his past bladder issues he should have regular access to the outdoors. When he first came to us he used to dribble when he was scared but he has made such great progress this really isn't an issue any more. His ideal home would have a doggie door leading to an enclosed area as he needs to urinate frequently. He also needs a prescription diet which ideally he should stay on for life but which is readily available on Amazon etc. Wilson is a digger so he needs a secure yard. He is a fearless, nonaggressive, darling little boy who will make a wonderful companion.
