My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The first step in adopting a dog from GO Boxer Rescue is to go to our website and complete an application found there, please ask for me!

Hi
They call me Daniel C Dogg
I'm a brindle boy, who has been in my foster home for a several weeks. My other mom went thru a divorce and had to move so she called GOBR to find me a new home.

I'm house trained, crate trained and get along well with other dogs (well mostly, I don't really like it if they're eating something, I think all the food in the world should be mine!)
They say I'm probably at least 4 years old.

When I came here, I had to get a bit ed-ja-cated, you see I wanted to sleep on the bed with my foster mom and the other 4 boxers that get to sleep there. I still sneak on the bed and hope my foster mom doesn't notice. I love her and I love that soft squishy people bed, it makes me happy, happy, happy!

I'm a bit bashful when meeting new people, that didn't happen much at my old home, but give me a few hours and we'll be besties (esp if you have treats!! Yay for treats!)

As far as obedience goes, I know 'sit'! Sit makes me happy, I get treats!! (ps, don't tell mom I'll sit without a treat too) Yay for treats!

Ya know what else I like? Toys! I like toys! Yay for toys! But after I play with them for a while they get kinda flat. And then there's this white fluffy stuff on the floor. Mom rolls her eyes and sighs and makes the white fluffy stuff disappear. I swear tho, I think I can smell treats in there and I just have to look. You see, I love treats! Yay for treats! Yay for toys!

When mom leaves, she says I have to be cray-ted. I guess it has to do with my love of toys and treats. Did I mention how much I love the toys and treats?

Now for the particulars, they tell me I weighed 66 lbs when I went to the veterinarian's to have surgery. I think my mom said that I am now new-turd, she also said that I'm heart worm free and I've been vac-sin-tated, what ever that is. I'm not sure because it happened when I was sleeping for my surgery.

There's one more thing I need a little more training for, you see when mom cooks, I like to watch her. But to do that I have to stand on 2 legs to see what she's doing. It's hard for me to stand on just two legs for very long so I rest my front ones on the counter. I've never taken anything from the counter, but I do like to look and mom said that's not a-loud. (Don't tell mom I said this, but she's kinda a pain in the you-know-what, she spoils all the fun things) Rules Rules Rules! You can take those stinky rules and give me treats! Yay for treats!

She also says I need to work on my leash manners. That being in the lead and pulling her along isn't nice. Aww shucks, sometimes she is just no fun at all! But she does hand out yummy treats!
Ok, I didn't exactly tell the truth, that's two things I need to work on, , 3 if you count the bed thing. I'm just not very good with the maths. But I'm cute and loveable, that's enuff in my book. Especially when training involves treats!

I'd love to come live with you, but just so you know, I love treats and toys, so let me know if you can fill my requirements for a new forever home, just mention my name Daniel C Treats ..... oops, I mean Dogg, Daniel C Dogg.
