My name is Heidi and I’m a special needs kitten looking for my forever home. The reason that I’m special needs is that when I was 4-5 weeks I needed one of my eyes removed and the other eyelid to be opened. I can’t not see out of the one eyes and can only see shadows out of the other eye. I still can get around my foster home and I use the litter box with no issues. I need to find a home were they will keep me safe indoors and let me be the wonderful kitten that I’m. I’m about 17 months old know and love to cuddle but I do need to get use to your scent before I would be comfortable. I get along with the other foster kittens that have passed through and have been adopted out, now it is my turn to find my forever home!
Heidi is a wonderful and very sweet loving little girl. She is being through a lot in her first year of life. She is doing very well considering she had a surgery when she was 4-5 weeks old. She has adjusted very well to having only one eye and the other one not being able to see much at all. According to the vet they think that she can make out shadows and uses her other senses to get around her foster home. She uses the steps like a pro!
Heidi is fixed and up to date her shots.
***Note we adopt to INDOOR ONLY HOMES due to the wildlife population which preys on domesticated cats.****
Heidi is being fostered in Manchester, Ct if you are interested in adopting this little gal please contact 860-471-7178 to set up an appointment.
Donation is required at the time of the adoption.
