Hi there. We are Maile and Kona and we are sisters. We are wonderful and sweet beagle girls in need of a new home. Sadly, the family that we have been with all our lives has lost their home and is unable to keep us. We know they are really sad about giving us up, but we understand that adoption is the best option for all right now.
We are looking for a new family that will take both me and my sister. I could not live without her as we are inseparable. Being with her helps me to be a very calm and quiet beagle. Our new home really needs to have a fenced in backyard as we need a good place to play and exercise. We both love kids of all ages as we've been around them and played with them all our lives. We will even miss the energetic toddler in our old family, especially since she would drop food for us from her highchair.
My sister and I both like to be around other dogs as well. We are very friendly and the only thing you have to worry about is my sister licking you to death, though she'd probably say the same thing about me. We are very well-trained.
Our previous master taught us a lot of commands. We like to sleep in our crate at night and also hang out there during the day when we are left alone for a few hours.
My sister and I are both AKC registered purebred beagles. We are both eight years old and have mellowed out, but we still have plenty of spunk when the need arises and love to play. Our previous family took great care of us and we are very healthy and happy. If you would like to find out more about us, please put our names on your application.
