Ollie - urgent!'s Story...
Ollie urgently needs a "forever foster" or an adopter! He is a super handsome old guy who is at least 12yrs old and not doing well in the shelter. Elderly cats often get stressed, sick, and do not make it out. We do not want that to happen to our Ollie! Despite his grumpy face he is actually a total sweetheart who doesn't mind being held, and he loves to lie in your lap. He's also a polydactyl! Ollie doesn't seem to mind other cats at all, and i'm sure he would adjust to dogs as long as they don't bother or chase him. He just needs a fairly quiet home where he will get the attention he needs for however long he has left. Ollie is located in Warren County, NJ at Common Sense for Animals. If someone is relatively local and can bring him to our vet, they can forever foster him and we will take care of any medical issues he may have. Ollie can also be directly adopted, and his adoption fee is $25.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollie - urgent!, a Broadway Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Broadway, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Broadway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broadway paves the way for another one to be saved.
