My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY POST--located at Baltimore County Animal Services. 410-887-5987. All info from shelter.

Three Chihuahuas arrived at Baltimore County Animal Services together that are in need of rescue placement of immediate permanent home. They seem to be very attached to one another and we would highly recommend they go together. This is especially important for Jazzy, the senior of the group, as she seems to really thrive on the companionship of her friends, and for Doodlebug, who is the most frightened of the group. None have shown any aggression and seem used to being carried around. They love curling up in a big warm pile on their doggy bed, and that’s usually how we will find them. Please contact the shelter if you have questions of if you want to go meet them.

Jazzy is an intact 14 year old female who weighs about 8 pounds. She is incredibly sweet but has a number of age related problems. She has dental disease that will require a cleaning, mature cataracts, and a significant heart murmur (grade 4-5). She also has a pea sized mass on her abdomen that may need to be removed and biopsied. We would also recommend a senior workup. While here she was vaccinated, treated with topical flea control and dewormed.

Dinky is a 4 year old intact female who weighs about 4 pounds. She is the littlest of the group and after some coaxing really enjoys the view from being carried around with you. She has a very apple-shaped head which, while typical of the breed, may need to be further evaluated by a neurologist to assess the severity of underlying causes. She was also vaccinated, treated with topical flea control, and dewormed while here.

Doodlebug is a 4 year old intact female who weighs about 6.5 pounds. She tends to be very shy, but once comfortable she really warms up to people. She has a 3cm hernia that should be repaired at the time of her spay. She also has tartar and moderate gingivitis that would benefit from a dental. Like her sisters, Doodlebug was vaccinated, treated with topical flea control, and dewormed.
