My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Barbie is being fostered in Oregon City, OR and her adoption fee is $350
BARBIE HAS BEEN SIGNED UP FOR TRAINING CLASSES AND WE HAVE PREPAID FOR HER TO GO ALL THE WAY TO GET HER CGC CERTIFICATION. TRAINING IS TRANSFERED TO ADOPTER, BUT THEY MUST GO TO THE SAME LOCATION AND TRAINER FOR COMPLETION.
Are you ready for a puppy party? If so, my name is Barbie and I am the girl for you. I am a year old and 100% everything puppy. I eat, sleep and play, play, play! I am looking for an active family that can provide lots of outlets for my abundant energy.
Do you enjoy hiking, running, long walks, playing ball? Another dog in my forever home would be great and a playful one would be even better.
I am currently working on my basic commands. I will certainly sit or run into my crate for a treat and I hear “off” and “leave it” more times than I like in a day, but I am starting to comply with both. I am a puppy so keeping my paws on the ground is not easy to always remember. I actually have a very impressive natural talent. I am an amazing climber. The higher the better and I am very creative with any resources I find that can help me launch to the next level. If you have any interest in agility training your new best friend, I bet I would be great at it! For the time being a high fence would be a good idea to keep me safe and in my own yard.
I crate during the day with the other young pups here and I don’t seem to mind at all.
I could go on and on about myself, but here’s what you should know. I am adorably cute with a fair amount of free spirit and maybe a little wild streak at times. I am looking for a family that will embrace my enthusiasm and love for life, direct me, yet still laugh at my curiosity and ability to enjoy each and every thing I come across (by enjoy I mean chew) and that at the end of the day when I am finally tired, would love a sweet cuddle partner to curl up next to.
