My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Nova (HWTH#15475A). She is a Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever mix, DOB: 10/10/10. Nova weighs approximately 65-70 pounds and stands 23 inches at the shoulders. She recently had pups (Natalie [adopted], Nellie [adopted], Ned [adopted] and Nick [adopted], born 8/15/15). Now, it is Nova's turn to find her new Forever home. Nova is a strong, high-energy girl who will need an active owner (possibly a runner, strength will also be a plus) willing to give her the love, attention and exercise needed to keep Nova fit and occupied. After Nova has thoroughly settled into her new home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training, mostly to help with leash training and the bonding process. Once Nova has bonded with her new owner, she will be a wonderful canine companion but she has shown that she must be the only dog. She is crate trained.
