Good day, my beagle friends! My name is Dakota (aka ‘Kota’) and I am a sweet 12 yr. old beagle girl that needs to find a new place to live. My previous owners are moving and unable to take me with them, so Penny Angels agreed to take me in to their Rescue and help me with my home search. I was with my family for 9 years and thought that I would live out my remaining years with them, but sometimes things change that are out of our control. It would be easy for me to feel sorry for myself, but I don’t have time for that nonsense because my attention needs to go toward finding my new home!

I am a cute little girl and only weigh about 20 lbs. Don’t let my size fool you, though, because I can hold my own with the other dogs. I am house trained, which is always a big plus for a new doggie family member! I am up-to-date with my vaccinations and scheduled for a dental cleaning on Dec. 7. I hope to be at Petsmart on Saturday, just in case you want to meet me. I know that I am safe in Rescue, but I would be so much happier in my own bed and in my own home with my new forever family.
