My story

**Akemi is located in Aurora, IL** Born approx Nov 2011

Akemi is a sweet young lady rescued from a hoarding situation. She is about 4 years old.

Akemi's name means "Bright Beauty" in Japanese. This girl has a lovely, unique look--she is part siamese and part tortie.

Akemi was shy when we first got her, but now she loves her foster family--she loves sleeping next to her foster mom, loves being petted, and LOVES her catnip. She is a purring machine.

She currently lives in a house with other cats. She is would do better in a home with a stay at home parent or retiree as she loves to give her people lots of attention

All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, feline leukemia/FIV tested, per age; treated for fleas/ticks and urgently awaiting adoption!
