Oliver is a one year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix who came to ACL from another high volume shelter. Smart and affectionate, this lil' guy is 100% terrier! Though Oliver is a little barky and nervous here at the shelter, he showed himself to be active, super playful, affectionate, and goofy in his foster home. Oliver just can't get enough of fetch! Oliver is an insecure young guy who has clearly never had the comfort of a solid, consistent, reliable family. Because of this, Oliver needs to be with a single person who is interested in building a bond with him, and he would definitely LOVE to do an agility class that would help him build confidence. Oliver is also uncomfortable with other dogs living in his home, since they make it harder for him to feel comfortable and secure. Our goal for Oliver is an experienced home with one adult and no other dogs where he can learn to trust, love, and be secure.
