Halo's Story...
Bold and beautiful, but a BIG BABY, Halo is an American Bulldog/ Beagle mix. She is spayed and 30 lbs of wagging tail and sloppy kisses. A survivor of the South Carolina Floods, she still has a small injury on her head. She is a sweet natured family pet. Great with any size dog, we don't know her experience with cats. Older children prefered ( due to her size). Located in Hopewell Junction, NY, near Poughkeepsie, her adoption fee is $350.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Halo, a Newtown Beagle/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/American Bulldog for sale in Newtown, or seeking a Beagle/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Newtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/American Bulldog breeders who help with Beagle/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
