Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Heddie is an adorable girl who was found stray in Lake Charles and made her way to Texas to find her fame and fortune! Or maybe it is just a wonderful family that she needs. Heddie is 1-2 years old and is 13+ inches tall and a slender 21 pounds.
It was a pleasant surprise to find that Heddie was not only housebroken but came knowing how to use a dog door. She has wonderful house manners. She goes quickly to her crate when it is dinner time and will take naps there, but is not crated on a regular basis in her foster home. Heddie loves playing chase with her foster siblings; for a little girl, she can run like the wind. She is getting pretty good at wrestling and can hold her own with the big boys! She would love a home with a canine buddy but would do well if given plenty of exercise She loves chasing after thrown tennis balls and will bring them back some of the time!
Heddie is a world class cuddler! She loves being up near you when it is time for a break. She can be a bit possessive of her space next to you but is learning to share your time and attention. Heddie has learned to sleep on a dog bed at night, because she is a bed hog! If you want a foot warmer, she is the girl for you. Just remember this Holiday Season that wonderful things come in small packages! Apply today to meet this wonderful girl.
