Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Popcorn and Dusty are adorable, social, trusting, sweet, silly and playful, 11-week-old, kitten siblings looking for a loving guardian – preferably together as a pair.
Popcorn and Dusty are not at all shy; they love to be held and pet. Both purr and purr as soon as you touch them. They get along with people of all ages as well as other friendly cats and dogs.
Popcorn is a fun and friendly male orange tabby, and his sister Dusty is a calm and affectionate pastel tortoiseshell. These two adorable kittens were rescued from Waukegan Animal Control.
Sadly prior to their rescue, they were very ill and both kittens had damage to their eyes. Popcorn’s eyes are very small but functional, and Dusty lost one of her eyes to illness. While they don’t have perfect vision, they get around just fine! Dusty needs daily eye drops to prevent glaucoma, and will benefit from an annual visit to an eye specialist.
Popcorn and Dusty are up-to-date on vaccines, fecal and virus-tested. They will be spayed/neutered and micro-chipped upon adoption. Their adoption fee of $85 each benefits Treehouse. They both have all their claws and enjoy using their cat tree and scratching post.
Popcorn and Dusty are being fostered in Libertyville, Illinois. To meet and possibly adopt them, please contact Alexis at alexis@treehouseanimals.org
