My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Francisco is an adorable 11 week old Briard mix puppy. He weighs about 10 pounds and is such a sweetie! His mom is a purebred Briard and she ways 45-50 lbs. Francisco is playful, happy and just loves being snuggled! It is so much fun to watch Francisco and his sisters and brothers play then fizzle out for a nap. Francisco is in a foster home and getting lessons on potty training and he is a quick learner.

If you are interested in giving Francisco wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about our adoption process at 203-909-8861.

Francisco is neutered, had all of his puppy shots, on flea/tick prevention and heart worm prevention.

Francisco is living with a foster family in Tennessee and will travel to his new family by professional pet transport once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee / Minneapolis areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
