Freddy's Story...
Freddy is a sweet little guy who is hoping to have a forever home for Christmas! He gets along wonderfully with people and dogs. Freddy is a happy and playful puppy. He is learning his potty manners, but his foster mom reports that he is learning fast. Freddy is doing well on leash training also. Freddy is well cared for in a foster home, but now he is ready to find his forever home! He is about 2.5-3 months old as of November 2015. Freddy is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated with at least two puppy shots and dewormed. Freddy come to our rescue from a supporter who saw they were being given away on Facebook. We were told the puppies are Beagle/Pit mixes so we are not sure how big he will get, but we know he is cute and sweet! Please complete an adoption application at ITVrescue.org to give Freddy his wish of a forever home for the holidays!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freddy, a Evansville Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
