Lacey's Story...

Lacey is a beautiful 1&a 1/2 year old black lab that is ready to give you all the love you need! she enjoys going for walks & bonding with the shelter workers! Spent the whole day with Lacey yesterday. One of our volunteers is training her & WOW she knows to sit & shake, she still loves to jump & give hugs... we are trying to teach her that some people don't like that & with as quickly as she is learning she will figure it out. She likes to go in her kennel & lay down when she is tired & she will even attempt to "sit" on your lap if you ask her to :) VERY SWEET girl, she deserves only the BEST home! Love spending time with this girl! she is SO SWEET! she attended another event last night & stole many hearts, she was on her best behavior! Can not believe this beautiful girl is still at the shelter! whoever is lucky enough to adopt her will get a GEM! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a Knoxville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
