Little Peanut (aka Superman) is about 1 year old. He was rescued from the street with several of his friends, and was likely dumped by his owner. He's a bundle of energy and will need to be walked and played with daily to keep him from getting bored, but after a walk he enjoys a good cuddle session. He loves to run and jumps around like a bunny. He can jump a baby gate and can climb so he would need to be in a home with a secure yard. He's a curious little boy and would love a home a back yard he could explore. He's a bit iffy with children (they tend to scare him). He will do best in a home without small children.

About Menifee Valley Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 1976, we are an all volunteer animal welfare organization that is dependent on the good will and talents of our friends and volunteers. Our focus is to promote community education on responsible pet care and ownership, which is a lifetime commitment--for the life of the pet. Through education, it is our hope that both children and adults will learn the importance of responsible pet care, including spaying and neutering to help solve the problem of pet overpopulation. Everyone can do their part by taking good care of their pet! Since we have no shelter or facility, any animals we rescue and/or take in are cared for in foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested persons complete an application and if adopting an animal, an adoption contract is completed also. Animals are delivered to new home where all family members including other pets must be present in order to complete adoption. This is to ensure that everyone gets along and to help ensure a successful match and adoption. A followup phone call and visit are made to see how the pet is doing in the new home. All animals are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fees vary from $50-$150.
