Rosie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rosie's Story...
Roses are red, but this Rosie’s blue—sitting here lonely waiting for you. The holidays are near, and sadly I fear that I will still be homeless. Maybe you will take me home in time for the new year? I am pretty as can be, good with other dogs and children 4+ too, but cats and chickens I just won’t do! I am sweet, sensitive, smart, already crate trained, and oh so ready to go home with you! At 2 ½ years old I am a great age and a perfect size at 45 pounds. What’s that you say…..Why yes, it is all as good as it sounds! My adoption fee is $200 and includes spay, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced-cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Portland Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
