Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Check back soon to see photos of Max.** Max is a brand-new addition to Tassie's Hope. This lovable, super-friendly, super-playful little guy is eager to make friends with everyone: human, canine and feline, alike. Since his birth, right around the first of the year, Max has spent a lot of time around children, and he loves kids! We would like to find a home for Max where there is another small, friendly, playful dog to pal around with, because this guy is serious about his play-time. (His current best buddy is Jaeger the Min-Pin, also listed on our website). Any children in the adoptive home would need to be very gentle with Max, because he is a tiny, delicate guy. When Max is not playing, he is all about the cuddle. He loves to be picked up and loved on. Max is currently about 6 lbs., but has a little bit more growing to do. Max is very smart and has the ability to learn a great deal. Max spent the first 5-1/2 months of his life with a family who loved him. He has never been subjected to abuse or neglect and his former family raved about what a good puppy he is. Unfortunately, Max's owners have a 3-year-old grandchild now living with them and she is terrified of all dogs. Probably a situation that could have been easily worked through (especially with a pup as friendly and sweet as Max) but the family made the decision to give him up. Now it's time to find Max his new forever home. Max is a very healthy boy. He is neutered, vaccinated, wormed and on monthly heartworm-preventative. He will also be micro-chipped prior to adoption. Max's $250 adoption fee helps offset the cost of his veterinary care. **Applicants for Max must have a verifiable history with a vet. A home visit will be required prior to adoption.** If you would like to make Max a permanent member of your family, please click on this link to complete our adoption application form today: www.tassieshope.org
