Wrangler's Story...
Wrangler is from Hardee County. He was brought in as a stray and was passed over three times by rescues. His euthanasia date kept getting pushed back because the animal control officers really liked him. When I called about pulling one into rescue, the officer I spoke to asked me to please save him. We don't know his history but he is about one year old. He was very scared of people and would roll over and urinate on himself when you would approach. He is now a very loving and sweet boy. Wrangler loves to hunt lizards and other small prey. He is not a vocal dog and it is very unusual for him to bark. He does love to play with other dogs. Not sure about cats. I have not seen him have an accident. He is crate trained.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog for sale in Port Charlotte, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Port Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
