My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fortune was so very fortunate the day that he was found after being thrown out the window of a moving car in northern NJ, and he has been brightening our days ever since! Fortune suffered a broken leg that awful day, but he's all healed up and has a clean bill of health now, and this 7 month old mixed breed puppy would be thrilled to meet a loving family that will give him the best life ever. Fortune has never held any ill will toward anyone and never exhibited any shyness whatsoever. We can't imagine why someone would do what they did to him, but Fortune has put it all behind him and he absolutely loves people. He is extremely friendly and outgoing, and is very sweet and affectionate too. He is amazingly well behaved and housebroken, and he is always happy to meet another animal. He helped out his friend Benson immensely when the two came in together from our Newark facility, and he helped Benson get his confidence back. Fortune would be happy to be adopted with Benson but he is also just fine with being adopted by himself. He loves, loves, loves to play and will toss around toys for as long as you'll play with him. He doesn't mind cats, but may be a little pest to them if he gets the chance. Fortune is eager to meet that special family that will love and spoil him, and give him the lifetime of happiness that he deserves. File#25517 9/19/15
