Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LUCY is a 2 year old spayed yellow female Lab who weighs 58 pounds. She is a sweet girl in need of exercise and some training. She ended up in the shelter because "the county would not allow her owner to let her run at large and they did not want to build a fence" - I kid you not! She is very sweet and does know some commands and tricks but lacks focus and can get a little wound up. She need a family that will let her get some exercise and continue and refine her training. She does listen well and will be a quick learner as she is eager to please. Lucy loves other dogs but likes to play a little rough and tumble at times. She is a beautiful girl that just needs some TLC, attention and guidance to become a wonderful girl! Lucy is a good rider. She pulls a lot on leash but does better with an EZwalk harness. She is keeping her run clean at the vet and previous owners stated that she is house trained. Good with other dogs. Lucy is approved for kids ages 16+
Update (1/29)Lucy is a very smart but very focused girl. She is a bit mouthy and jumpy and over the top and we are working on that. Lucy needs an experienced adopter that will continue her training immediately and work with her to focus her energy in a positive way. Lucy likes other dogs but can play too rough for many of them and may make them mad. Lucy needs a patient, capable adopter. She needs some leash work also as she can get overly excited. For now, Lucy is only available to families with kids 16 and up. Lucy is crate trained and house trained and can settle nicely if she gets the proper exercise.
