Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wilford is a 10-15 year old Shiba Inu/husky mix who weighs about 40lbs. He came to Senior Dog Haven after he was abandoned in Philadelphia and living in an empty building. The neighborhood store owner was feeding him but decided Wilford had a better chance at finding a home if he were in a shelter. SDHH welcomed Wilford into our family at the beginning of October. He’s now healthy and ready for a “fur-ever” home. Wilford currently lives with several dogs and gets along with them very well. While he would like to play and romp around, his arthritic elbows keep his play to a minimum and he settles for exploring the yard and hanging out with his friends. Wilford was recently fitted for a special orthotic brace for one of his elbows and his foster family is monitoring his acclimation to the brace. Willie is a true gentleman. He is a sweet and gentle guy who enjoys just being around people and other dogs. Willie would do well in a calm home that doesn’t have too many stairs.
