Musketeer's Story...
Little Musketeer was rescued from a very high kill shelter in North Carolina along with his four brothers and sister. Very little was known about him and his siblings as they were dumped in front of the shelter during a COLD DAMP night and left for the volunteers to find the next morning!
It is thought that he's about three months old. The shelter listed the litter as bulldog mix, but there is no firm thoughts of their breed except to confirm they are certainly well "mixed". Musketeer's been pulled from the shelter and vetted. Currently he will remain in the vets office under a two week quarantine. In the mean time applications will be accepted for his adoption. With an approved application arrangements will be made for her to be transported to you.

This litter of pups are very active, normal puppies and we were thrilled to be part of saving their lives!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Musketeer, a Mount Holly Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Mount Holly, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Mount Holly.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Holly already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Holly breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Holly paves the way for another one to be saved.
