Hi there! I'm Warren! I'm a 4-year-old neutered male Corgi/Dachshund mix. I weigh about 11 pounds.
As you can see, I'm one of the cutest dogs you'll ever see in your life, but I'm so much more than that! I'm sweet, friendly, calm and affectionate. I'm also really polite. I walk perfectly on a leash and I never bark! Although I'm pretty laid-back, I'm no introvert. I love meeting new people! The way I see it, every new friend I make is a new lap to lay in. Oh and guess what - I get along great with other dogs, too!
I was actually adopted once before. I was so excited to have a family of my own that I wanted to spend all of my time with them. I wanted to sit on the couch with them and relax while they watched TV, but I guess they didn't like that, because they were always telling me to get off. I also wanted to cuddle with them in bed, but they wouldn't let me, which was a real bummer. Well, after about a week, they decided that I just wasn't the dog for them, and they returned me to the shelter. They said that I was too mellow and too affectionate. Can you believe that?!
Thankfully, the staff at the shelter took a liking to me right away, and told my friends here at CageFree that they just HAD to meet me! So now here I am, waiting patiently while they work hard to find me the perfect forever home. So here's what I'm looking for.
I'm pretty low maintenance. I'm an adult dog, so I don't need a ton of exercise, but a few walks per day would be great. I think I'd like to hang out at the dog park, too. I really don't need much to keep me happy. I'm just looking for a warm bed to sleep in, some toys to play with, and a few hundred belly rubs!
