Sarge's Story...
Hi I'm Sarge! But my friends know me as the Gentle Giant.
I am a beautiful male great dane x german shepherd, about 79lbs. I just turned 4 years old and was given up by my family because they didn't have enough time for me. I'm fully house trained and leash trained, and I'm usually given free reign of the apartment when no one is home. I currently live in an apartment but I would love a house where i can have a backyard to play in. My ultimate favourite thing is the dog park, I go there almost everyday! I am good with dogs and cats and I love all people. I am a snuggle bug and will never pass up an opportunity to cuddle up on the couch with my foster mom. If your looking for an active loyal companion please apply to adopt me!

Sarge is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Animal Rescue. The adoption donation is $375. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. Please fill out our Adoption Form if you are interested. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarge, a Cambridge Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
