Facts about Miss Kitty;watch my video here

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Miss Kitty is cat with cattitude! She is five years young. What a pretty tortoiseshell colored girl she is, and her photographs just don't do her justice. She has the most beautiful eyes, and the camera just doesn't pick up on them. You need to come in and visit this pleasantly plump girl and see for yourself. Miss Kitty is a bit overweight, (hey, who isn't these days?), it just means that there's more of her to love! She is very affectionate to people, and loves to roll around on the floor to get your attention. Kitty would need to be your one and only. Cats, dogs and children tend to scare her, so a home without them would work best for her. She loves attention and affection, buy can be a little sassy at times. A cat-savvy owner who would be able to give her time ans space to decompress when she needs it would help her to flourish. All that Miss Kitty wants is a home to call her own. If you would like to come in to visit her, she may be able to convince you that your home should be her home too.

About Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter

About Our Shelter...

We believe all animals are deserving of life, respect and care. Our goal is zero-population-growth through spay/neuter programs and services that focus on education, medical care, fostering and adoption. Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization which started in 1996. The shelter takes in homeless, abused, and abandoned animals in the city of Manchester. We provide shelter, medical care, and spay/neuter to every animal that comes through our doors. In operation for nearly two decades, the shelter has helped provide care and find loving homes for over 20,000 animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Both dogs and cats and other pets we may have available for adoption can be met at the Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter at 490 Dunbarton Rd in Manchester.

We also rescue southern dogs several times a month. These dogs go into foster homes as they wait to be adopted. Applications can be filled out at the shelter at 490 Dunbarton Rd. Once approved a meeting will be set up.

We also have cats at PetSmart at 777 South Willow Street in Manchester NH. PetSmart Adoption hours are Monday - Friday 6-8 PM (except Wed) and weekends 1-3 PM. In addition we have cats at Petco in Manchester. You can meet them anytime during store hours, just ask for a manager.
