My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB October 31, 2011.

Handsome Papi becomes very confident, gentle and affectionate once he gets to know you. Most days he is curious and cheerful, and likes his routine - especially if there's a window to watch the world from between naps. He is a fairly laid-back cat, and doesn't demand playtime as much as cuddle time. He likes to stand where he can rub his head against your face for some loving. He also loves kneading your lap (which is quite pleasant since he's declawed, so it's like getting a massage). He also "scratches" furniture with his declawed front paws: he doesn't actually do any damage, but he's very good at polishing things - like the leg of the desk!

Papi will nip you if he's over-stimulated and you don't give him his space, or if you try to rush his introduction to your home. Ignore him long enough, he'll bring the cuddles and you'll be both be fine. For this reason though, Papi is best suited to a family without young children.

The previous owner was given Papi by a friend. Once the owner was married, his pregnant wife's allergy to cats became a problem, so Papi was surrendered to the local clinic. After all he has been through, Papi required some hand-feeding for the first week he was with his TCR foster family because when he's nervous he doesn't eat. Papi would love to become part of his true forever family very soon. He promises to be the very best companion he can be - as long as you promise to give him maximum pats and affection!
