I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Dozier's Story...
My name is Dozier and I'm a 3 year old retriever mix. I am a very smart dog. I know sit, stay, down and I'm also housebroken. I have been trained to walk and jog on leash and I really love my walks. I am kind, docile, and low energy, but I do need my walks every day. A large, well secured yard would be best for me so I can get my exercise every day. I would also benefit from an owner with experience with my breed(s) and a home environment that is generally quiet and predictable. I'm a good indoor dog and I love to sleep. I would make a great dog for a person who wants a calm, loving dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dozier, a Wilmington Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
