My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penny is such a sweet lady. But sadly Penny has had a tough go at finding the right safe place for her. In her early years she was attacked by a large dog and had a long recovery which brought her to a foster home with Town and Country. She was loved and cared for in her foster, then Penny thought she may have found her long term owners. No such luck for Penny, she turned out to be more then they were looking for in activity level. SInce being in the kennel we have found her to be sociable with the other dogs and cats. She enjoys her walks and walks beautifully on a leash. She is attentive to the volunteers and is ready to show her gratitude for the time we spend with her. She loves toys, snuggling and treats. If you are looking for an adult dog (3yrs) that wants to be your best bud or traveling companion, PLEASE call us about Penny. She maintains such a sweet demeanor through all of this and really is deserving of a long term family. Call Shelter directly at 530.865.3661 for more information. Email is not reliable as it is checked irregularly by volunteers.
