Hi, my name is Comet! I was born October 4, 2015. I have four siblings who are also looking for loving homes: Cupid, Prancer, Dancer and Rudolf. Cute, huh? I am super friendly, affectionate and sweet. I love people and other kitties. I like to cuddle and share affection. I also like to play with toys and with my littermates. I am so happy to be in a warm foster care home. Even though my littermates and I were abandoned on a porch in a box, we are very social kittens and we all still love people. I am an adorable, little, black and white tuxedo girl who is looking for a loving home. I love to cuddle on your lap and get lots of love. Pouncing on my littermates is also big fun. Having my ears scratched is one of my favorite things. I am a lap-kitten who will warm your heart with my purr and my beautiful markings. I use the litter box like a good girl and would love to find a forever home soon. Adoption fee: $100. Adopt a pair: $150. PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event) on the last Sunday of every month.
Event dates for 2016: January 31, February 28, March 27, April 24, May 29, June 26, July 31, August 28, September 25, October 30, November 27 and December 25.
Saturday, January 9, 2016: Adoption Event at
Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd). From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).
Adoption event dates for 2016: January 9, January 23, February 6, February 20, March 5, March 19, April 2, April 16, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18, July 2, July 16, August 6, August 20, September 3, September 17, October 1, October 15, November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 17.
Adoption Process:
Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
