Bradley's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Bradley's Story...
Bradley came from a hoarding situation where it took several different rescues to help rescue these dogs. He was in a pen with his brother (Bruce) who we also took on. That is where they have lived for the last 2 or 3 years and all they have even known. When we first meet Bradley he was so scared and had no clue what was going on, you could see how scared he was in his face. He has been really coming out of his shell in his foster home and just loves that fact he is now living in a home. He also loves sleep on the bed and snuggling with his foster mum. He is great with other dogs his size and not sure of the bigger dogs in his foster home. He will chase the foster cat so would be best in a home without cats. Considering he has always lived outside he is doing great with potty training and about 70% trained. He is fixed, current on all shots, micro chipped, heart worm negative and on monthly prevention. This is what Bradley needs, a home that is quiet and patient. He is not going to be a dog for young children. He does not like to be in a crate, it really stresses him out. He is just starting to understand that toys are fun. With time and patience he is going to be a wonderful companion, it took him a day to be very bonded to his foster mum. How can you not fall in love with that face that has never had a kind loving home before.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bradley, a Ashburn Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund for sale in Ashburn, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Ashburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
