Aries's Story...
Born Oct.14, 2014, Aries has just had his first birthday. He is great with people and walks very well on a leash, if it's the right leash. Crate trained, recently neutered, heartworm negative, and current on routine inoculations including bordetella. Aries comes from a home with two cats, and he did very well with those 2 cats. He may need to be properly introduced to new cats? We may cat test him with some new cats soon. At eight weeks of age Aries arrived at a Jacksonville area puppy store. Aries' pedigree paperwork comes from Missouri. His life experiences seem to be few, although he loves to ride in the car, loading into the car eagerly. He would be a great companion for dining alfresco, and going to public events on a leash with you. He really likes people.
Aries' dogie etiquette gets him into trouble when off leash with other dogs. He is too eager to be friends. This over anxiousness with dogs may abate as he matures, but for now he antagonizes other dogs to continuously play with him, and it becomes too much for most dogs and they retaliate. Aries may need to be an only dog. Aries comes to rescue from his Jacksonville area owner because of this anxious behavior with dogs. Aries still needs to learn sit/ stay etc, basic commands. All he knows at present is loading, in the crate or car.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aries, a Lloyd Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Lloyd, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Lloyd.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloyd already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloyd breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloyd paves the way for another one to be saved.
