Eddie's Story...
Everyone meet Eddie! We believe he is an Akita mix, and we know for sure that he is a very handsome dog. We also know Eddie is a young dog, and is a little over a year now.
Eddie loves people, and wants to be them. He is very social and loving and is a people type dog. Eddie has been in a kennel with Virgil, so we know he can be with another male dog, if they are now the alpha. Him and Virgil, have had some great wrestling times together, and we know that Eddie would be a good dog for an active family.
Edde is current on the vaccinations we could give him and is ready to go to his new family. I hope to take more pictures of him soon. He enjoys going out on the daily exercise run and loves the snow!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eddie, a Walthill Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita for sale in Walthill, or seeking a Akita dog from a breeder in Walthill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walthill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walthill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita breeders who help with Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walthill paves the way for another one to be saved.
