Cricket's Story...
Do you like unusual things? Do you consider yourself a unique person? Would you like to have the most unusual dog in the neighborhood and be the envy of all your friends? If so, then Cricket is the dog for you!! Back in January of this year someone showed up at the clinic with a big litter of puppies that they wanted us to take. We agreed to take them in but in all honesty we were a little worried because they looked like a litter of tiny blue pits.

Yes, this dog! Ok, so now that you are laughing, here is the rest of the story. As they started to grow some had smooth coats and some were kind of fuzzy and some started growing vertically! But none more so than Cricket. I can honestly say that I believe that Cricket is longer than any Bassett Hound that I have ever met. He even has the front feet that turn out like a Bassett. And then we get to that face!

Cricket is a wonderful dog who has a love for life and everyone and everything in it. She loves to play with other dogs, likes to go for walks on a leash, and settles down easily. Cricket would love a home and family to call his own. He will return your love tenfold.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cricket, a Siler City Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Siler City, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Siler City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Siler City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Siler City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Siler City paves the way for another one to be saved.
