Fritz's Story...
My siblings and I were born in a feral colony. Once we were old enough to leave our mom, a good Samaritan took us in and kept us until a St. Francis foster became available. We adapted very quickly to living indoors! Like my siblings, I love to be held and cuddled. I love to play with kitty toys and chase my siblings around. I get along well with other cats and I really enjoy having playmates. I am curious, but a little apprehensive, when it comes to dogs. However, my foster mom has several of them so I am used to seeing them around. I know that I will bring a lifetime of joy to the family that adopts me. If you could take either my sister Freya or my brother Frankie too you will get double the love!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fritz, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
