Jelly's Story...
Jelly #3094 is an adorable 7-month-old male, Lab/Doberman mix. He is so sweet and lovable. Jelly is very smart, and knows basic commands. He is mostly house trained, fully kennel trained, and working on leash training. Jelly plays well with other dogs, and cats. His favorite things to do is play fetch and play with children. He is an active boy who will need an adopter that can commit to daily walks and exercise. Jelly is almost full grown, weighing just over 40 pounds. We believe you can always teach an "old" dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for adoption event locations and updates: www.facebook.com/lcarmd.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jelly, a Waldorf Labrador Retriever/Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Doberman Pinscher for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
