Riley is a Sheltie/Shepherd Mix. He is 4 Years 6 Months old. He is Black, Fawn and White. He is neutered and up to date with all his shots. He weighs about 36 pounds.
Riley is a wonderful dog. He is very sweet and loves your attention. He also listens very well, he will sit and stay for you. Or if you need him to go into a certain room all you have to do is point and ask and he'll go. He loves to be brushed, he'll just stand there and let you make him beautiful. He'll even nudge at the brush for you to continue to groom him. He gets along great with other dogs. He's the more laid back one of the bunch. He likes to find a soft spot with pillows and lay down for a nap while the other dogs play wrestle around him. He's not bothered by noises or other animals, he just likes to be around people and be pet.
Riley would do best in a household with a family. He loves attention and is very loyal to his owners. He is very gentle so younger children would be fine with him. He is laid back but likes to play and go for walks and car rides.
Riley is not aggressive with other dogs, he's been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
