Gentle - Social - Vocal
Right now Walt may not be the best looking guy around, but he really is the sweetest! He fits the definition of a gentleman perfectly. Even though he can't see or hear very well, he shows immediate interest in any human who enters his personal space and he is not afraid to show his love.
In his old age he still explores and can get excited about toys, but he spends most of his time napping. He has been known to cuddle up for some story time with kids, dogs, and other cats, as long as no one startles him. He has very good manners - except maybe if you're cruel enough to eat chicken right next to him. He will always respectfully ask for attention and food - just making sure you don't forget to feed him his favorite wet food. He also doesn't scratch anything and always uses the litter box!
Walt has medical issues including hyperthyroid, allergies, and over-grooming. He does need to be medicated daily, but he is extremely gentle. It's definitely not his favorite time of the day, but he is never aggressive.
This sweet lug has a black and white coat with big green eyes and cute spots on his nose. He is a loving companion cat who deserves a comfortable, quiet home with people who adore him and maybe even another mellow cat friend. Contact us to meet Walt today!
