Eddie's Story...
Meet Eddie! This hunky sweetheart is a 5-month-old Beagle mix. He was rescued with his sister, Tutti Fruitti, from an open-admissions shelter at capacity. Their time was up; we took them into our rescue. Eddie is a shy pup that would flourish in a relaxed home environment. Once he warms up to you, he becomes your shadow and will follow you everywhere! He is currently being fostered with other dogs and children. He is working on house training and he will be neutered prior to adoption. Eddie is a total love bug and we are positive you will fall in love once you meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eddie, a Hockessin Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Hockessin, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Hockessin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hockessin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hockessin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hockessin paves the way for another one to be saved.
