My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Isabel is a tan/white long-haired Chihuahua/Tibetan spaniel mix who weighs 12 lbs. She is 3 years old. She has had babies recently and is just finishing up weaning them. She is almost 100% housetrained and has medium energy. Isabel is very gentle, quiet and shy at first but warms up quickly. When she does she is independent and confident. She adores her crate and will go in there to nap throughout the day. Isabel very affectionate with people and just loves to be petted. She loves attention and will sit on her hind legs like a bunny to beg for it. She is fine around cats and we think she would be ok with an easygoing, non alpha dog. She currently lives with other dogs and watches them play and really looks like she'd like to join in but she is not quite courageous enough to do this. As she develops her confidence, we think she would love to have a mellow canine companion. This wonderful mama needs her own forever home.
