Pip's Info...

Pip's Story...
My siblings Miles, Otis, Daisy and I are the “Barnyard Party Animals” litter here in our FOHA foster home. That’s an animated movie with lots of talking animals. Me, I don’t talk, but I will purr! I’m named after a wild mouse….which is quite humorous when you consider that we cats are often considered the mortal enemies of mice. I’m a sweetheart, so soft and fuzzy, like a stuffed animal. You can carry me around like a stuffed animal or baby. If not being carried around, you might just find me lying next to you, snuggled up to your legs. My siblings and I love to play, and I’m a big fan of treats. Know what else I’m a big fan of – the idea of finding a forever home with a loving family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pip, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
