It's impossible to get a photo of Lacey without her smiling!! If you are looking for the dog who is going to fit in with the family like the proverbial "old, comfortable shoe," Lacey is that dog! She is one of the best all-around good natured dogs we've ever had. Totally calm and pleasant, gets along very well with the other dogs, and will appreciate a similarly calm home. Though she appears to be "just another black dog," she is most definitely not "just another black dog"; she's a very special girl whose family will wish there were more of her. Lacey is about 5 years old, she weighs about 50 pounds and is lower-moderate energy level -- active enough for a hike but enjoys the art of "chillaxing"! Her background: she was abandoned at the city park with a bag of cat food. We will never figure out that one.
