Ruth is a very sweet ginger and white cat that we rescued from St. John the Baptist Parish Animal Shelter along with her six babies. Ruth was born with a birth defect that caused her eyelids to be turned out wrong. She spent a couple months at Azalea Lakes Veterinary Clinic in medical boarding after having surgery to correct her eyelids and receiving drops until she recovered. Ruth has been spayed, vaccinated, etc. and is now available for adoption through Acadiana Humane Society. All of her babies have been adopted and now it is Ruth's turn to find a family. Ruth did test FIV+, however she is very healthy. She has a reduced adoption fee of only $50.00 to help her find a loving home soon.
