Venus-Solo's Story...
With piercing green eyes and a soft white coat it is hard not to fall in love with Venus. She is both independent and curious and started exploring my house, dog & 2 cats less than 24 hours after being brought to my house. She has had a bit of a rough start to life. She was a shelter cat who was adopted out & then returned to the same shelter months later. She was very depressed at the shelter and it has taken her several weeks to really open up and start showing her personality. It has been a slow road but she is making friends with my other two cats and she pretty much ignores the dog. Venus loves to perch where she can look out a window. She loves to be petted and lets you know by her loud purr! Venus needs a special family that can be very patient with her. This will be her 3rd family and she takes her time to open up. It is totally worth it to see her playing and happy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Venus-Solo, a Nashville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
